Join us for this one-time opportunity to cook your way through your CSA share with the chefs from Comida KIN.

Bring your share (even the wilty bits!) and you’ll learn:

  • How does a chef tackle THEIR CSA box?
  • How to refresh the vegetables you got last week
  • How to prep each veggie to extend its life
  • How to simplify dinners for the rest of the week
  • How to cook with vegetables you’ve just met for the first time

Even if you’re a seasoned CSA member, you’ll come away with new recipes, and tips to make the most out of your share.

This is a hands-on workshop with very limited availability.  Bring your share, your favorite knife, and an apron, and you’ll go home with a week’s worth of meals.

Rodrigo Huerto and Mary Hatz are longtime Portland chefs who have cooked at some of our best restaurants including Aviary, Little Bird, Toro Bravo, Taylor Railworks, The Heathman, and Taqueria Nueve.  In 2020 they bought a food truck and started Comida KIN, a farm-forward restaurant-on wheels.  They work with local farms to integrate our abundant locally-produced food with traditional Latin American cuisine, and volunteer weekly to make healthy meals for those in need.
